Brendon Johnson has called the Comox Valley home for most of his life. He is an alumnus (BA, MA, BMus) of Bob Jones University, where he held teaching and administrative positions, and he has received the Colleague diploma of the Royal Canadian College of Organists.

Mr Johnson's activities include historical research (his current projects are in local history and his family's history) and music. He is the author of a history of Grace Baptist Church, to be published in the summer of 2024, and he has contributed to several Canadian newspapers as well as to Proclaim and Defend, BJU Together, BJU Today, the CGO Blog and the Journal of Biblical Theology & Worldview.
